u gotta love those shoes...
i'm back in KL, sitting in my bedroom, which has been turned into some sort of hybrid bedroom/office [the things that happen when u're gone, honestly], and it's good to be home.
everything feels very familiar and comfortable, like an old warm blanket that you snuggle into. from my mum's visible excitement at seeing me in the airport- she was actually hopping up and down a bit- to coming back to the apt and showing my mum the new dresses i bought, and her showing me all the stuff she bought me in the meantime- including my 21st bday present- jade earrings- that she had made for me while i was gone [mother-daughter bonding through consumerism- i like, i like], and chatting to my dad about what i've been up to, how summer school worked...
i feel like i've regressed- i'm about age 14 now, except with better clothes and jewelry. today i woke up at 7.30am, the parents were up and about, and my mum suggested i go watch cartoons on tv- just to complete the transformation from an 21 year old, to a 14 year old, to a 4 year old.
it's great though- i get pampered like a kid, but get to shop like an adult! going to hit the shoe shops like a typhoon 10. like there's no tomorrow. like shoes were being traded on the stock exchange and i've got inside info that footwear is going to be the next big thing.
awesome....
