just got back from yet another week one orientation event- the 'red, rude and raunchy' event hosted by my hall. i wore red tights, a black skirt, a red top, a red sequin scarf and red tinsel on my head, and a green jacket over it all, with the result that i felt like a cross between santa's slutty elf and a christmas tree.

when i left people were beginning to make out on the dance floor.

all the other colleges gang up on my hall, with the result that everywhere we go, we are accompanied by chants of 'rutland take it up the arse, doo dah, doo dah'. to which we apparently reply, and i found this out on the bus back, 'you should try it up the arse, doo dah, doo dah'. or words to that effect.

it's all very classy.
