i found this post-it on the dashboard of my computer the other day:

today, i knew that when i walked out of my room for lunch in pinkish shoes, purple pants, a brownish-grey t-shirt, bright green cardigan, gold earrings and a purple headband, with a pink strap around my neck, that all sense of colour coordination had finally, and irretrievably, left me.
