british sinks have a hot water tap and a cold water tap. separate taps. 'so?' i hear u ask, 'what's wrong with that?'

well, for one thing, the hot water tap, when u turn it on, churns out BOILING water. there is steam. i can put my face over the sink and have a facial if i so desired. that kind of hot.

and other, u can't have warm water then. most taps in malaysia and australia have one tap, with the little swivelly thing so that u can control how hot or cold u want to water to be. here u either have hot or cold water. no inbetween!

no matter how many times niro shouts 'hail britannia', it does not change the fact that everywhere u go, there are TWO TAPS.

how can a country which prides itself on being a former empire not get with the programme and go with the flexi-one-tap?
