with love from krakow.

hey hey all,

i am in krakow. it is 7am. caught the overnight train from prague, arrived at 5.44am. my lonely planet guide said the train from prague to krakow was a bit dangerous- people getting gassed and having their stuff stolen, robbers and such- so wheeeeeeeeeeeeee made it out alive and all body parts and possessions intact!

prague was really beautiful, if touristy- there were tourists everywhere! apparently a group of asian chicks were fairly rare cuz guys- italian ones, came up to us on a couple of occasions and told us we were beautiful. and we got filmed and taken photos of on the sly, on the street and in the club we went to- the largest club in central europe! flattered for the former- being told you're beautiful is always nice, the latter was slightly creepy.

i am also now possibly enamoured/obsessed with art nouveau, post-mucha museum. it's so pretty!! visiting so many art museums in europe has made me appreciate art so much more- the different styles, the work behind it, the uses of different mediums and techiniques... i don't know anything about art, but being so exposed to it has let its mark on me. it's all about europe and culture.

i love eastern europe. everything is cheap. and the hostels are great value for money! it's all about the hot showers. and free internet. and free transport from train station.

will post more if i have more time later on. for now, it's krakow for 3 days, including a day trip to auschwitz, wroclaw next, the warsaw. then on to lithuania- vilnius and other random small towns on the coast, then latvia... back to london for a few days, then off to spain!

isn't a 4 week easter break in europe awesome?!??!?!
