signs that u have been in melbourne uni for too long.

this is for people who have spent 4 years or more in uni.

you remember the bar on the first floor of union house when it was called U-bar. and u were there thru its incantation as lush bar, and now inu bar.

you remember when the swimming pool was deserted and had no water in it. which, when u think about it, is not much use as a swimming pool at all.

you remember when the sports centre only had 1 gym. and it was small, musty and smelt funny.

you remember when they didn't have classes such as bodybalance, fitball, body combat, cardio-box, etc. there was yoga and pilates and you didn't have to come half an hour earlier to line up for tickets.

you remember when the uni bookshop was opposite union house, not at the bottom of ballieu.

you remember when union house didn't have bubble tea. and you remember when the centre bit had rectangular white tables, instead of the little blue round ones they have now.

if you were to line up all your re-enrolment stickers on your student card, you would run out of room.

you realise in your tutorials that you have the lowest student number there. and in exams, your seat number is 1.

you remember when the toilets in the basement of union house were kinda dodgy, had murals on the walls, and weren't violently pink.

you remember when there was no malaysian society because it got shut down. embezzlement, u see.

you remember the fountain in lincoln square before it was the bali memorial, before it was boarded up for ages, when it was just an ordinary fountain occasionally with bubbles covering it [when people put in detergent], and sometimes also ppl having sex in it [according to one of my friends, who was an eye-witness].
