lying has consequences.

dublin was fun, but it's back to nottingham, and back to the daily grind, and i just realised that i can't log into a programme that i need to access for my tutorial work- which is fine, i just have to email the lecturer, the problem is that he is quite scary, and i skipped his tutorial to go to dublin, and got my friend to say i was really sick which is why i couldn't go.
so now, on sunday, i have to email him to say that i can't access the programme to do the tutorial work that i was supposed to do on wednesday, for the tutorial on thursday, which i didn't go to, so if he was clued in he'll be all, 'hey, dawg, why are u only emailing me to say that u can't access the programme on sunday, when u were supposed to have accessed it on wednesday for the tutorial on thursday, which means that u should have tried to access it earlier and found the problem earlier, did u lie about being sick on thursday, biatch???'
[i might have taken some artistic licence with that, he is, in fact, not some rapper from the ghetto, but is a portly, bald man with a mean streak and a sarcastic sense of humour. but that is the gist of it.] i can't believe i am this paranoid about not doing the reading, but the man inspires fear, it's a subject on british parties and elections, which i do not know anything about in the first place, but in the lecture he hauled out a bunch of guys from the back row to stand on the front of the stage to and asked them to name, from 1945, dates of the general elections, which party won and who was the leader of the party at the time, just to demonstrate that british students shouldn't think that they know all about british elections just cuz they're british. he's just that kind of man.

i'm getting caught up in the web of my own lies. so if he questions me i will have to say that the portal wasn't working on wednesday so i couldn't even access the site with the programme (true), that i WAS sick on thursday (false), then couldn't access it over the weekend cuz i was in dublin (partially true).

will the lies never end?!??!?
