public transport- good for the environment, bad for mental health.
yesterday on the extremely slow tram i rehashed my pet transport-related peeve. u know on the MRT/MTR [depending on whether u are from singapore or hong kong], or really, ANY train/tram system, they have those poles in the center for people to hold on to when the train is moving? my pet peeve is during rush hour traffic, when someone LEANS ON THE POLE with their ENTIRE BACKS which means that no one else can grip onto it. having nothing to hold onto in the centre portion of the train means that everyone else is forced to sway backwards and forwards like branches in a storm [reference: maroon 5], toppling over onto each other while the train stops or moves, ALL THE WHILE this person is blissfully leaning on the pole. damn all u inconsiderate pole-leaners!!!!!
also, the people who don't move away from the entrances when the tram is packed and people need to get on. damn u, inconsiderate door-hoggers!!!!
